AccountMakers is an online staffing, recruiting, and hiring platform operated as a division of Scion Staffing, Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when providing our platform and staffing services throughout the United States.

1. Introduction
Welcome to AccountMakers. AccountMakers is an online staffing, recruiting, hiring, and workforce platform operated by Scion Staffing, Inc. We help employers discover, evaluate, interview, engage, and hire professionals for temporary, interim, temporary-to-hire, fractional, contract, and direct-hire opportunities. We also allow job seekers and professionals to create profiles, express interest in opportunities, communicate with employers or our team, and participate in hiring and employment processes.
When you access or use our websites, applications, accounts, recruiting tools, candidate profiles, employer tools, communications, hiring workflows, or other services that reference this Policy, you are interacting with our “Services.” This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with those Services.
2. What This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to information collected through AccountMakers websites and applications, candidate and employer accounts, job applications, recruiting interactions, interviews, references, background-check workflows, assignment administration, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, communications, marketing activities, and other online or offline interactions related to our Services.
Separate notices, agreements, authorizations, employment forms, applicant disclosures, client contracts, or jurisdiction-specific notices may supplement this Policy. If a separate notice applies to a particular interaction, that notice may govern that specific activity in addition to this Policy.
3. AccountMakers Is a Platform and Staffing Service
AccountMakers provides technology and staffing services that facilitate connections and transactions among employers, job seekers, candidates, temporary professionals, employees, contractors, service providers, and Scion Staffing personnel. The platform may support profile creation, talent discovery, candidate search, interview requests, job offers, hiring decisions, assignment administration, references, background checks, communications, payroll, timekeeping, and related functions.
Use of the platform does not guarantee that any candidate will receive an interview, offer, placement, assignment, or continued access to opportunities. Likewise, use of the platform does not guarantee that any employer will be matched with or permitted to engage a particular candidate or service.
Employers are responsible for their own hiring decisions, workplace practices, job requirements, and compliance obligations. Candidates and users are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide and for their interactions with other users.
4. Information We May Collect
Location, device, log, and usage information
Depending on the Services you use and your device settings, we may collect approximate location information, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, referral information, access dates and times, platform interactions, crashes, and similar technical or usage information. Where a feature requires precise location, we will use it only as permitted by applicable law and applicable permissions.

We may collect reference information, including the referee’s name, employer, title, relationship to a candidate, contact information, responses, ratings, scores, and comments. We may also collect reviews or feedback concerning candidates, workers, employers, assignments, or platform experiences. Where review or rating features are available, certain information may be visible to other users as described within the platform.
Employment, onboarding, payroll, tax, and assignment information
If you become an employee, temporary professional, contractor, or placed worker through AccountMakers or Scion Staffing, we may collect information necessary for onboarding, work eligibility, employment administration, payroll, tax reporting, direct deposit, timekeeping, benefits, assignment management, workplace compliance, terminations, and other employment-related obligations.

Where reasonably necessary and legally permitted, we may collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, tax identifiers, government identification, immigration or work-authorization documentation, financial account information, disability or accommodation information, health and safety information relevant to employment, demographic information, or other legally protected information. We use such information only for appropriate operational, employment, legal, security, or compliance purposes.
Media and uploaded files
If you upload images, resumes, work samples, identification documents, or other files, we may store and process them to provide the Services. Users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive metadata, including embedded location information, unless it is required for a legitimate purpose.

8. Candidates, Employers, Temporary Professionals, and Employees
AccountMakers is both a technology platform and a staffing service. As a result, information may be used differently depending on your relationship with us. Job seekers and candidates may use the platform to make profiles searchable, communicate with employers, participate in interviews, provide references, receive offers, and pursue employment opportunities. Employer users may use the platform to identify talent, communicate, interview, make offers, and manage staffing engagements.
If a candidate becomes employed through AccountMakers or Scion Staffing, additional employment-related processing may be required for onboarding, eligibility verification, payroll, benefits, assignment administration, workplace obligations, taxes, timekeeping, legal compliance, safety, and termination or offboarding.
AccountMakers may retain candidate and applicant information for future opportunities, recruiting purposes, business administration, legal compliance, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and other lawful purposes.
9. Platform Access, Eligibility, and Business Discretion
To protect users, clients, workers, and the integrity of our platform, AccountMakers and Scion Staffing reserve the right, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to determine whether to provide, continue, limit, suspend, or discontinue Services or business relationships.
This may include deciding whether to:
- Create, approve, verify, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account.
- Accept or decline a candidate, employer, client, job opening, staffing request, assignment, or business relationship.
- Decline to present a candidate for a particular opportunity.
- Decline to work with an employer, client, candidate, vendor, or other person or organization.
- Remove, limit, or moderate profiles, content, job requests, reviews, messages, or platform activity.
- Require additional information, verification, documentation, or compliance steps before providing Services.
- Investigate suspected fraud, misuse, misrepresentation, harassment, discrimination, unlawful conduct, safety concerns, policy violations, or other conduct that may create risk.
Nothing in this section permits unlawful discrimination or other conduct prohibited by applicable law. Decisions may be based on legitimate business, legal, safety, security, compliance, service-quality, client, candidate, platform-integrity, reputational, or operational considerations.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and the nature of your relationship with us, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, portability, confirmation of processing, or other rights provided by applicable law. Some states may also provide rights concerning targeted advertising, certain sales or sharing, profiling, or sensitive personal information.

No system, website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting passwords, account credentials, and access to their devices.
12. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, manage candidate and client relationships, administer employment and payroll, comply with tax, employment, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent fraud, and establish or defend legal claims.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the relationship involved, legal requirements, business needs, and applicable contractual obligations. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information where permitted by law.
13. Third-Party Services, Integrations, and Embedded Content
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools, videos, maps, analytics, social media features, applicant systems, background-check providers, reference-checking services, payroll providers, or other services.
