Sales Development Representative – Los Angeles (Remote)
Are you a motivated self-starter eager to launch or grow your career in tech sales? AccountMakers has been engaged by our client, a venture-backed fintech startup revolutionizing small business lending, to hire a Sales Development Representative to engage prospects, nurture relationships, and book meetings that convert into new business. This permanent role is responsible for building pipeline, qualifying leads, and driving outbound sales activity to fuel company growth.
As an SDR, you will manage outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified opportunities. You will research accounts, personalize outreach, and track engagement in the CRM system. You’ll also collaborate closely with account executives to hand off qualified leads and continuously refine messaging and strategy.
This role is fast-paced and metrics-driven, with clear goals for outreach volume, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution. Top performers will have the opportunity to advance into closing roles within the sales organization.
What We’re Looking For:
-1–3 years of sales, business development, or customer service experience (internships count).
-Strong communication skills and comfort making high-volume outbound calls.
-Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot).
-Comfortable learning new tools, sales processes, and product knowledge quickly.
-Ability to research accounts and tailor outreach to different buyer personas.
-Results-driven mindset with a passion for hitting and exceeding goals.
-Able to stay organized and manage multiple outreach sequences, follow-ups, and task deadlines.
-Interest in fintech, SaaS, or startup environments is a plus.
-Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales or customer-facing roles.

Compensation
This permanent sales role offers expected on-target earnings (OTE) of $75,000–$95,000+, with a base salary of $55,000–$70,000 annually. The role also includes full benefit options including health, vision, dental, 401k and other benefits.
