Position Details
Are you a strategic sales leader with experience scaling high-performing teams? Our client is seeking an Interim Director of Regional Sales to manage territory development, mentor account executives, and accelerate enterprise sales opportunities in technology-driven sectors.
As Interim Director, you will:
Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies.
Manage and coach a distributed sales team to meet and exceed quotas.
Lead pipeline reviews, forecast accuracy, and sales analytics.
Partner with marketing on lead generation campaigns tailored to enterprise buyers.
Cultivate executive-level relationships with Fortune 1000 prospects and channel partners.
Drive negotiations and close high-value, multi-year contracts.
Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events.
This role demands expertise in enterprise software sales cycles, complex negotiations, and relationship building at the C-suite level.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.
8–12 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 4 years in a regional leadership role.
Proven track record of driving multi-million-dollar enterprise software deals.
Experience scaling distributed sales teams across multiple territories.
Expertise in CRM and sales forecasting (Salesforce strongly preferred).
Strong negotiation, executive presence, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Comfortable with interim, project-based leadership engagements.

Compensation
This interim leadership role offers a rate of $80-$100 per hour, depending on experience. Performance-based incentives may also be available for achieving revenue targets during the engagement, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
