Director of Sales – New York City (Remote)
Are you a dynamic sales leader with deep experience in SaaS, enterprise software, cloud platforms, or digital technology? AccountMakers has been engaged by our client, a fast-growing SaaS technology company, to hire a Director of Sales. The Director of Sales will lead revenue growth initiatives across subscription sales, enterprise SaaS deals, strategic partnerships, and product-led growth channels.
This full-time leadership role will oversee revenue expansion across new customer acquisition, enterprise accounts, and channel partnerships, driving strategic growth through outbound sales, account development, and expansion of key enterprise relationships. This is a high-impact leadership role for a commercially driven executive with strong experience selling SaaS solutions in competitive, fast-scaling environments. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling multimillion-dollar recurring revenue (ARR), leading high-performing sales teams, and building strategic partnerships within B2B technology markets.
As Director of Sales, you will:
-Develop and execute go-to-market and revenue strategies across SaaS subscriptions, enterprise sales, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances.
-Drive ARR growth across direct enterprise customers, mid-market accounts, resellers, and strategic technology partners.
-Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team focused on exceeding quota, improving win rates, and expanding market penetration.
-Establish and monitor key sales performance metrics including pipeline velocity, conversion rates, forecast accuracy, average deal size, churn reduction, and ARR growth.
-Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, procurement leaders, and enterprise decision-makers across target industries.
-Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, marketing, customer success, and engineering teams to align revenue strategy with product roadmap and customer needs.
-Negotiate complex SaaS contracts, enterprise licensing agreements, multi-year subscription deals, and strategic partnerships.
-Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across enterprise SaaS, platform integrations, API partnerships, and emerging product offerings.
-Represent the company at industry conferences, SaaS events, customer roundtables, and executive meetings to strengthen brand presence and drive pipeline growth.
This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate product capabilities, customer data, and market trends into scalable revenue strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
-8–12+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 4 years in a senior sales leadership role within SaaS, enterprise software, cloud platforms, or B2B technology.
-Proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar ARR growth across enterprise SaaS sales and subscription-based business models.
-Strong existing relationships within enterprise technology buyers, procurement teams, and SaaS ecosystem partners.
-Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing sales teams in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments.
-Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, subscription pricing models, ARR/MRR metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
-Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to scaling revenue and expanding market share.
-Strong negotiation, executive communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior enterprise stakeholders.
-Experience building cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams.
-Proficiency in CRM and forecasting tools, including Salesforce preferred.
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field required; MBA preferred.

Compensation
This full-time leadership position offers on-target earnings (OTE) of $300,000–$400,000+ annually, with a base salary of $180,000–$240,000+ per year. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
