Customer Service Representative – Los Angeles, Remote

AccountMakers is actively recruiting Customer Service Representatives for immediate hire on behalf of our hiring clients. Our staffing and recruiting platform specializes in sales, customer success, and support roles, connecting vetted candidates with employers across retail, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, and other industries.

Position Details

Are you a dependable communicator who enjoys solving customer problems? We are building a talent pool of Customer Service Representatives to match with hiring partners in sales, customer success, and support. Customer Service representatives typically handle inbound inquiries, resolve billing and order issues, process returns and refunds, manage subscription and account changes, assist with order fulfillment questions, escalate technical problems to the right teams, and document interactions in CRM or ticketing systems to ensure accurate handoffs and trend reporting. You will follow client-specific service level agreements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.

These roles are metrics-driven and may include opportunities to support upsell or retention efforts depending on the hiring client. You will contribute to knowledge base maintenance, identify recurring issues, and provide actionable feedback to product and operations teams. Shift windows vary by company and can include evenings or weekends. Some of our clients may require background checks for certain roles, particularly in fintech or payments.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent customer-facing experience.

1+ years of customer service, call center, or support experience; chat and email support experience is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and a solution-oriented approach.

Familiarity with CRM or helpdesk tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, or Freshdesk.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends if required by the hiring client.

Able to work required shift windows (including Pacific Time) as needed.

Experience with billing, subscription platforms, or payment processing systems preferred.

Compensation

Typical base pay ranges from $40,000 to $55,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses or incentives. Total compensation varies by hiring client, role complexity, and language or technical requirements. Many positions include benefits and clear pathways for advancement into senior support, customer success, or sales support roles.
