Chief Revenue Officer – Los Angeles or New York, Remote
AccountMakers has been engaged by our client, a growth-stage company in the technology and services sector, to hire a Chief Revenue Officer. This is a full-time executive leadership role focused on accelerating revenue growth, optimizing go-to-market performance, and aligning cross-functional teams for scale.
Position Details
Are you a data-driven revenue leader who thrives at the intersection of sales, marketing, and customer success? Our client is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to own the company’s end-to-end revenue strategy, from pipeline generation and deal execution to retention and expansion. This leader will oversee the sales, marketing, and account management functions, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable revenue growth across multiple channels.
As CRO, you will:
-Define and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the CEO and executive team.
-Build and mentor high-performing sales and customer success organizations to meet aggressive growth targets.
-Establish forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting across all revenue functions.
-Partner with marketing to strengthen lead generation, brand awareness, and demand conversion.
-Implement scalable sales processes, incentive structures, and tools to support expansion.
-Oversee key client relationships and strategic partnerships to drive enterprise-level growth.
-Lead annual revenue planning, territory design, and compensation modeling.
This role is measured by predictable revenue performance, retention and expansion metrics, and the alignment of sales, marketing, and success teams under a unified strategy. The CRO will collaborate closely with product, finance, and operations leadership to ensure profitable scaling and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, business development, or revenue leadership, including 5+ years in executive management roles.
Proven success leading organizations through rapid growth or market expansion.
Experience managing multi-channel revenue teams (sales, marketing, customer success, partnerships).
Strong analytical and financial acumen with expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue operations.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams in high-growth or PE/VC-backed environments.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Outreach, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

Compensation
Compensation for this role ranges from $250,000 to $400,000+ OTE, including base salary, performance-based incentives, and potential equity participation.
