Business Development Manager – Los Angeles, Remote

Position Details
Are you a strategic hunter who builds pipeline and opens new revenue channels? We are building a talent pool of Business Development Managers to match with hiring clients in Los Angeles. In these roles, you will identify and qualify new market opportunities, develop and execute outbound prospecting and partnership strategies, book discovery meetings and executive briefings, and create compelling value propositions and outreach sequences that convert. You will build relationships with key stakeholders, manage opportunity progression in the CRM, and coordinate cross-functional go-to-market activity with sales, marketing, and product teams to accelerate pipeline and close strategic deals.
These positions are measured by metrics such as pipeline value created, qualified meetings booked, partnership-sourced revenue, and conversion rates. You will work with a modern sales stack (Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/SalesLoft, Zoom) and follow a structured ramp plan that includes market training, messaging workshops, and regular performance reviews. Roles vary by client and may be remote, hybrid, or on-site in the Los Angeles area; some opportunities may require occasional local travel or flexible hours to meet partner needs.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales, business development, or related roles.
3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or quota-bearing sales, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
Proven track record of generating pipeline and closing new business or partnership deals.
Strong prospecting skills and experience with outbound channels (email, phone, LinkedIn) and partnership outreach.
Ability to craft persuasive messaging, build executive relationships, and run multi-threaded outreach campaigns.
Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar.
Experience in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise sales is a plus.
Able to work Pacific Time business hours and meet client scheduling needs.

Compensation
Typical base pay ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually, with on-target earnings commonly between $130,000 and $200,000 depending on role, industry, and commission/bonus structure. Exact compensation varies by hiring client and seniority. Many roles include benefits and clear career progression into senior sales, partnerships, or revenue leadership.
