Account Executive – Los Angeles, Remote
AccountMakers is actively recruiting Account Executives for immediate hire on behalf of our hiring clients. Our staffing and recruiting platform specializes in sales, customer success, and support roles, connecting vetted candidates with employers across retail, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, and other industries.
Position Details
Are you a results-driven salesperson ready to own quota and close deals? We are building a talent pool of Account Executives to match with hiring clients in Los Angeles. In these roles, you will generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up, run discovery calls and product demos, create and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close new business. You will manage your sales cycle in the CRM, update forecasts, and collaborate closely with sales development, marketing, and customer success to ensure smooth handoffs and strong customer experiences.
These positions carry clear quota expectations and are measured by metrics such as quota attainment, win rate, average deal size, and pipeline coverage. You will work with a modern sales stack (Salesforce or HubSpot, Outreach/SalesLoft, Zoom, Gong/Chorus) and follow a structured ramp plan that includes product training, demo coaching, and weekly performance reviews. Roles vary by client and may be remote, hybrid, or on-site in the Los Angeles area; some opportunities may require occasional local travel or flexible hours to meet customer needs.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
Experience working in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise sales is a plus.
2+ years of quota-bearing sales experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving pipeline.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a consultative sales approach.
Comfortable with outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and experienced with demoing products.
Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar.
Experience in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise sales is a plus.
Able to work Pacific Time business hours and meet client scheduling needs.

Compensation
Typical base pay ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, with on-target earnings commonly between $120,000 and $180,000 depending on role, industry, and commission structure. Exact compensation varies by hiring partner and seniority. Many roles include benefits and clear career paths into senior sales or account leadership.
