You’ll then receive a notification whenever an employer messages you, invites you to interview with them, or sends you an offer of employment. Signing up as an employer on AccountMakers is quick, straightforward, and free. Simply navigate to the “Get started” button on the top right of your screen. From there, you’ll find a user-friendly signup form where you can enter your company details and create an account. Once registered and approved, you’ll gain access to our platform’s powerful features, enabling you to connect directly with talented job seekers and start interviewing and hiring W-2 temporary, interim, fractional, and direct hire professionals at the push of a button. Our platform is free to join and you pay NO monthly fee. There is no cost for job seekers to sign up, or find work through GH. Like a traditional staffing and recruiting agency, employers pay a set markup on the hours worked by their temporary/interim employees and a set placement fee for any direct/permanent hires. Unlike an agency, your team can engage and hire candidates without recruiters, giving you full visibility into the talent pool and full control of the hiring process.
Contingent hires include temporary, interim, and fractional employees. While most staffing agencies charge a markup of 60% to 85% (or more) on the hours worked, AccountMakers currently charges 43%. This rate includes the required payroll taxes and insurances associated with FICA, Medicare, unemployment, and worker’s compensation, as well as a small payroll and administration fee for us.
A blended workforce refers to a team of permanent (full-time) employees working alongside contingent (temp, interim, fractional) talent. As a hiring strategy, it builds inherent flexibility into the organization, so teams can meet the shifting demands of the business more effectively, while keeping employee burnout to a minimum.
It’s entirely FREE for job seekers to create a profile and use the platform. Plus, unlike most freelancer platforms, we do NOT take a cut of your income. Instead, employers are billed a markup on your rate, which covers all the usual payroll taxes plus a small fee to administer it on their behalf.
That said, we do charge a small one-time fee of $2.99 to OPTIONALLY verify your identity. While this verification is optional (for now), it is highly recommended. Employment fraud has become an unfortunate reality, so identity verification has become common practice for companies and agencies across the staffing industry. If you do choose to participate (and we hope you do!) then, once verified, you will get a nifty badge on your profile that lets employers know that you are who you say you are. This is the only fee we will ever charge to job seekers, and it just covers our costs to offer this service — we do not profit from it. Meanwhile, everyone benefits from making the platform safe for job seekers and employers alike.
